Today is a perfect day…
… to wash, dry and store Winter away. The weather has been glorious all this week so far, sunny, no clouds and temperatures up to 32 Celsius (90F). Even a bit too hot for the little ones to play outside in the middle of the day. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to freshen up our woolens and have them soaken up a lot of sunshine. Now, there’s a lot of contradictions in advice in how to store wool but I’ll put ours in an airtight container with a handkerchief dabbed with lavender essential oil and hope they will be deliciously fresh smelling for next Winter.

I still need to clean out our mudroom and pack away the winter coats and such. You are inspiring me! And in response to your comment on my post about the craft group I have joined – you should definitely form a group! We should have them all over the world! Crafters unite! It is very easy, if each meeting is hosted by someone who wants to share a particular skill or craft. Or, you can all learn something new together.
